Though Turkey is a popular summer destination, its Black Sea Coast remains relatively unknown – the Mediterranean sun-soaked coast overshadows the northern side with more amenities, more sun and a greater choice. On the other hand, the Black Sea Coast will offer you fewer crowds and more deserted beaches. Şile is a popular spot with inhabitants of Istanbul, many of whom have summer houses here as it’s just an hour’s drive from the city. The fortress and the lighthouse make the unique skyline of the town, while the beach consists both of rocks and sand.

4. Shekvetili, Georgia

Amusement Park, Concert Hall, Park

The 5 km (3 mile)-long beach at Shekvetili is the perfect combination of hot sand and pine trees offering a cooling shaded spot for shelter. Shekvetili is packed with vacation activities from the Tsitsinatela Amusement Park to the Black Sea Arena, the biggest concert hall across the Caucasus, and the Miniature Park showcasing scale models of the biggest attractions in Georgia.

7. Langeron Beach, Ukraine

Villa

Langeron is one of the oldest and most popular beaches in Odessa, Ukraine. It used to be the place where the French Count Langeron, formerly the city’s Military Governor, built his summer villa. There is a Dolphinarium on the beach where you can watch the show of the dolphins. This place is all about the hustle and party of the summer season, so expect it to be crowded in the peak of the season.
