Although Harwood owns and operates his full-service gym, you can also sign up for the Wash Park Boot Camp in beautiful Washington Park. These year-round outdoor boot camps include cardio, core and ab work, and weight training. Best of all, you’ll spend an hour in one of the prettiest parks in Denver.

2. Tai Chi at Harvard Gulch Park

Tai Chi Denver offers a variety of classes for the community around the city. For those in the University of Denver area, look for summertime classes at Harvard Gulch Park on Monday and Wednesday mornings. The classes are held in a church when the weather turns.

4. Yoga Rocks the Park

Yoga Rocks the Park is an awesome workout experience held in Sunken Gardens Park each summer that includes an all-levels, music/DJ-driven yoga class, as well as guided meditation and a yoga camp for kids.

5. Civic Center MOVES

Civic Center MOVES is a year-round free fitness offering hosted by the Civic Center Conservancy. Those of all fitness levels will find a class to their liking, offered outdoors in Civic Center Park from late-April through mid-October. From yoga to full-body boot camps, every class emphasises community and are scheduled Monday through Thursday at the lunch hour and in the evening.
