The site is the home of the historic Loudon House, built in the mid-19th century; the home is considered an impeccable example of Gothic Revival architecture of the time period. Today, the park hosts a large, state-of-the-art aquatic center, sports fields and facilities, and a community center.

5. Kentucky Horse Park
