Al Forno is probably the most popular Italian-style pizza restaurant with Ecuadorian families. The restaurant is large, loud and inclusive, while the pizzas are just downright delicious.

The best wood-fired oven pizza in all of Quito can be had at Cosa Nostra. Ingredients are always top notch and generous, but not so heavily applied that the crust can’t bear their weight. Both white and red sauce pizzas feature on the menu.

The only restaurant in Quito making Chicago-style pizza is Georgina’s in the La Carolina neighborhood. While the pizzas are delicious, they require ample cooking time so either order ahead or plan on enjoying a leisurely meal.

Romolo e Remo sells pizza by the slice, has excellent house wine and a relaxed atmosphere. They also bake some of the best focaccia in town. While we think the location at El Salvador is the best in town, you can’t go wrong at any of their restaurants.
