The Most Notable Fashion Boutiques in Monaco

Monaco is synonymous with luxury shopping. However, in between the shiny Chanel and Hermès shopfronts, there are a smattering of boutique shops, stocking glitzy partywear alongside floaty designer kaftans and floppy straw hats, ready for wafting around onboard a sprawling Sunseeker yacht. Here’s our guide to the finest boutique shops in Monaco.

Ciribelli

Seeking accessories for your evening soiree? Jewellery and watch designer Ciribelli has its only store inside the exclusive Metropole shopping centre, attached to Hotel Metropole. Their customisable 18-carat gold ring – with your name set in white diamonds – is among their most popular pieces, as well as the Swiss-made watches for men. Get your credit card at the ready.
Eden Monte-Carlo
Also inside the Metropole, you’ll find luxury womenswear boutique, Eden. It’s all about understated luxury here; you’ll find Levi jeans paired with a simple wool jacket, and silk pyjamas that are too good not to be seen – with a hint of glitz. Don’t forget to throw a sparkly camisole in your shopping basket, ready to be worn with black cigarette trousers.
La Boutique de Rocher
For childrenswear, head to La Boutique de Rocher, opened by Princess Grace of Monaco in 1966. It’s very quaint – think knitted booties and cosy mini dressing gowns. It also stocks antiques, artwork, ceramics and other homeware pieces. All profits go to the Princess Grace Foundation, set up in the icon’s name to support performers in theatre, dance and film.
Maison Noir

Need a last-minute tuxedo for dinner? Menswear boutique Maison Noir hires out eveningwear of all varieties – from morning suits to a dazzling array of bow ties. The incredibly helpful staff will make sure you’re dressed to the nines before they shut up shop for the day. They also have their own collection of unisex casualwear to buy – from simple T-shirts and smart backpacks to uber-comfy tracksuits, ready for the gym.
K11 Concept Store
Fashion should be fun, right? Cue rails of frothy fur jackets, neon cardigans and sequin leggings at this eclectic boutique on Avenue de la Costa. Clashing prints are given pride of place here, as well as a touch of Monte Carlo glamour. Candles, cushions and kitchenware are among the items also on offer at K11.
Eleven Monte Carlo
Bright prints and kitsch accessories are part of the charm at this boutique on Boulevard de Moulins, among the quirkiest Monte Carlo shops. Barbie-print 1950s skirts from Alessandro Enriquez, bold-patterned kimonos from Rianna + Nina, and Borsalino hats make up the offering here. Don’t forget to pick up an Ortigia candle to take home with you.
Monte-Carlo Forever
If you’re looking for more formal attire – say, a floor-length Armani gown for a black tie gala, or a cashmere sweater for lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant – then this Monte Carlo shop is the place to go. As soon as you step inside and see the sweeping marble staircase, you’ll know you’re in a classy joint (with price tags to match). Roberto Cavalli, Versace and Bora Aksu are among the brands available here. There’s also a decent menswear section on the top floor.
